Christmas day 2020

 Merry Christmas Everyone.

I just want to thank everybody for being brave this year, all the hero's who have put their lives on the line to save us and help us to survive this very bad year. I do hope that 2021 will be more positive and we can all get back to living our normal lives again.

So what did I get for Christmas...

My dog walker has spent many, many days and nights crocheting, knitting and sowing this year to bring some smiles back to the faces of family, friends and others and I was so happy and surprised when a certain somebody brought me the most brilliant present ever.

It's ME! 😲

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. This is my little baby (Me). I just couldn't stop smiling, such a wonderful present. I just had to make sure she was mine before I got too excited and give her a great big...

KISS. 😘

And this is a song that sums up just how I feel...

Our world is very sad at the moment...

Our world is very sad at the moment...

and it's my birthday today so I think it is time to put a smile on our faces and what a better way to do that is to make people laugh. I asked my dad to take a photo of me self isolating at my birthday party, yes it's a shame I can't share my party with all my friends, so here I am sharing my birthday wishes to everyone around the world.

8 Today. Happy Candy day everyone. 💏
Lots of love from me. 😍

And don't forget..
Smile
To SMILE!

Raining, cats n dogs!

I love my walks in Autumn, the leaves on the trees changing colour, the beautiful skies, that slight chill in the air. Ahh! It's so refreshing with the peace and quiet, total tranquillity.

Just look at that wonderful Autumn sky.

Hey! Where did those cows come from?

They weren't there a minute ago. I'll get one of my doggy guards to move them.

Don't just stand there all cow-eyed, get them out of my way. I've heard of raining cats and dogs but not cows. It'll be flying pigs next!

Fireworks scare me.

Every year over the next few months people start to celebrate certain events and in doing so enjoy the use of fireworks. I suppose they add to the fun and excitement for most but there are a few who just don't care about how or where they use them.

When some of these FIREWORKS go off they can be very, very noisy and give off such big bangs that they scare me so much that I shake, start hyperventilating and try to hide away from the horrendous noise they make.

So I am asking everybody to just consider just how all the pets like me and all the wildlife who also suffer and become scared during these next few months to just think before you light that blue touch paper.

How many animals will this firework harm?

PLEASE SHOW SOME CONSIDERATION

FIREWORKS QUESTIONS

Does the law provide an appropriate balance between allowing for the safe enjoyment of fireworks by the public and minimising the risk of fireworks harming people, property or animals? Examples of the sorts of things you might like to talk about in reply to this question are:

Are the current limits on fireworks by explosive strength appropriate?
Are current restrictions on public sale and use appropriate?
Are current restrictions on noise levels appropriate?
Are current age restrictions appropriate?
Are safety standards stringent enough? If not, how should they be strengthened?
How effectively are the existing laws enforced by local authorities, trading standards, the police and others?
Why are traders allowed to sell fireworks weeks ahead of the dates of specific events, Guy   night and New Years eve.

How might this be done differently?
How do the roles of public and private firework displays differ?

Could public firework displays more widely fulfil the role of private displays? If not, what prevents them from doing so?
What evidence do we have about how dangerous or safe different types of firework display, public and private, are?

Do we have enough data to give good answers to these questions?
How should laws around fireworks take account of the needs of particular groups such as the emergency services, retailers, cultural and religious communities, veterans, children or people with disabilities?

Should there be specific rules to protect animals?

Are the public and event organisers sufficiently aware of the necessary safety precautions when using fireworks?

How could awareness be improved?

People training.

Some people have the total wrong idea about us dogs, some tend to call us dumb, along with other unworthy words I won't mention, which is all quite insulting and disrespectful to say the least. Let's take a look at one of my recent attempts to train two very intelligent people how to prepare to take a dog for a walk...

Let's start with herding them together and getting them lined up on the starting line. 😞

Right! That's one down, now for the next...

Got you, ha! 😜

Just check that I've got everyone and then we should be ready for the off. 😉

Oy! Which way are we going?
The way you're facing or the way I'm facing? 🙄

This way it is then.
On your marks, get set and we're off. 😀

Strictly, NOT Dancing.

I told you about Georgia how cool and sophisticated she is, well her Mum was talking to my Dad the other day and she mentioned that Georgia was going to start ballet lessons next month and she has been practising every day...

Looks more like, "line dancing" to me 😏

Looks like I'm going to have to put my ballet boots on and show her some real moves, "know what I is sayin bro", you gotta shake your tutu down to da groun'. 😜 So I considered maybe those two doggy guards can help me out with practicing with a partner. Well I should have known better than to ask either of those two...
For crying out loud!
" DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DANCE AT ALL" let alone, know what Ballet is? 😱

Is that a ...

There I was just chillin' like you do and started to feel this tickling in my throat, shouted my Dad who was in the kitchen to come and have a look if he could see anything...

Anything in there that shouldn't be I asked him. "Can't see anything that shouldn't be in there" he said and went back to the kitchen.

A couple of minuets later the tickling started in my nose...
Whatever it was seemed to be wriggling about and started to make me want to sneeze.
So as it started to make its way back into my throat area I gave a big cough and it was gone. 😝
Later on I saw something green hanging down from the ceiling...

I must have had a frog in my throat earlier. 😒

How to get fit

I've been watching sport on the TV with my Dad and I think it's time to do a YouTube fitness video, for all my friends to watch and join in with me to get fit.

Right then, here we go keep together and do what I do, keep it synchronized guys and don't forget to stretch those paws...

You're all doing great, keep it together Betty, only got another 2 to go. 😤

My Dad says we need, more movement right guys. So I want you all to follow me and don't forget to, synchronize... Keep it moving Betty...

DAD, dad, keep moving the camera about. Do you think they noticed? 😜

Can't keep a good dog down

After Georgia promised me a new hat I thought I would go and visit her to make sure she had everything she needs to make a start sometime soon. You know, like now.

Oh! You startled me, she said. I'm just about to start your hat. Your Dad gave my Mum your sizes the other day.

I hope you'll have it finished by today, at the latest. You will won't you? 😌

I'm not sure I've got enough wool for that size head. 😲

Georgia

I have lots of friends, well I call them friends, my Dad says that they are just acquaintances. I'm sticking with my version and so I would like to introduce you to...

Georgia, who is one of the coolest girls around. She loves to crochet her own hats and has promised to do one for me.

Doesn't she look great in that hat? I can't wait for mine, so excited. 🤗

She is so cool, calm and collected, nothing bothers her. Total doggy sophistication, that's what I want to be like when I get older.

I think a Bee just stung her bum. 🤔

Growing up and getting bigger

I always thought I was the same size as I got older but as you all know, the older you get the bigger you get too. I could fit in all the best places, like snuggling up between my Dads feet. Absolute heaven, the best place in my whole dog world. It was so secure but best of all the smell was so pungent.

I think my head got stuck once.

This is a dogs life, ahhh.

Then somebody put me up on a chair one day...

I liked it...

Checked it out.

...a lot 🤗

Yes! This was going to be my chair, for ever more.

A little me

Yes... I used to be quite small once then Dad thought, ah! I know how to make me grow and so this is how I used to look, once, a long time ago.
Yes that's me at the ripe old age of 3 months.

Now I have to go on long walks with my new doggy guards. To get rid of this...
Look at that backside. Shame on me!
Look at that backside. Shame on me! 😱

Yep, these two have been volunteered to escort me, just to make sure I do the full circuit, about a thousand dog miles a day.

With a face mask on 😷

Here I am...

Well I never thought that I would ever start blogging. Barking, yes! Definitely not blogging. I suppose my Dad's responsible for this but I'm not sure. I've been learning how to type on keyboards for months now,

old broken ones I found in the bin outside. I think it's a bin, my Dad always says if I'm not a good girl he's going to put me in it. He thinks it scares me but I just look at him with my,

"don't understand what you're talking about," look.
